By donating your fashion items (or shopping) at Dress for Dignity, not only are you selling with purpose, you are selling with impact. When you sell your pre-loved fashion items with us, 100% of funds are donated to Share the Dignity, an Australian women’s charity that works to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough.

HOW TO SELL
- Love it - find a pre-loved fashion item from your wardrobe
- List it - visit dressfordignity.org.au and list your item for sale
- Give it - sell your item and post it to the buyer with 100% of sales proceeds donated to help a woman or girl in need. Plus, you’ll also receive a tax-deductible receipt.

REASONS WHY?
1. REDUCE LANDFILL
Australia is the second highest consumer of textiles per person in the world, with each Australian consuming an average of 27 kilograms of new clothing per year and disposing an average of 23 kilograms of clothing to landfill each year. That’s enough landfill waste to cover Tasmania annually.

Motivated by such alarming statistics at our doorstep, we are on a journey to bring zero-waste fashion choices to the mainstream and make it easy for everyone to shop for the world they want, through contributing to a circular economy. Dress For Dignity’s mission is to support women who are doing it tough, in need & fleeing difficult circumstances, and that can’t be done without the support of incredible organizations Australia-wide.

100% of sales proceeds from all transaction will be donated directly to Share the Dignity, helping a woman or girl in need experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence and doing it tough. Your heartfelt transaction will make someone’s day.
END PERIOD POVERTY
Share the Dignity has donated over 3.2 million period products to provide Australian people with the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted.
IMPROVING LIVES
Share the Dignity has over 3,000 charity partners across Australia, that we donate period products and bags filled with basic essentials too. Through Dress for Dignity we will also be providing online gift vouchers to domestic violence shelters so that a women in need can choose her own dress or item she will be able to love and feel loved through.
